Electropoli Czech Republic, a member of the Electropoli Group based in France, is a European leader in surface treatment. The company specializes in chemical surface treatment, hot-dip galvanizing, industrial painting, and galvanic surface treatment. Logistics operations are integral to the business, either preceding or following all core production activities.
Our logistics department faced several challenges: eliminating the uncoordinated arrival of carriers in the afternoon, optimizing capacity distribution throughout the workday, simplifying information flow across the corporate structure, and generating analytics related to goods reception and dispatch.
Following the implementation of the Time Slot Control application, we could see noticeable improvements. The personnel workload for truck clearance has decreased thanks to the smoother and more predictable arrival of carriers. We've also succeeded in reducing warehouse operating costs. The application's accessibility allows all relevant staff to view key information in real time, and we now benefit from detailed analytics covering transport operations — including insights into the long-term reliability of our carriers.
