Integration & Technology

TSC uses the OData v4 standard protocol supported by Microsoft, SAP, IBM, and other leaders. Integration is done through a REST API with full CRUD operations on companies, orders, and order items. We also provide a sandbox environment for safe testing before going live.
Yes, we provide a full sandbox environment that is a complete copy of the production system. You can test all API integrations, workflows, and configurations without affecting live data. Email and SMS notifications are disabled in the sandbox to prevent confusion.
Our yard management ecosystem includes LPR cameras for license plate recognition, automatic barriers, LED panels, SMS / Call to Gate systems, self-service check-in kiosks, and Slot Monitor LCD displays. You can deploy all or selected components based on your needs.
Yes, besides fixed duration slots, TSC offers dynamic slot duration calculation based on shipment volume — the system algorithmically determines the time needed based on the number of pallets, boxes, or other units in the delivery.
The IPP (Inventory Planning Purchasing) module provides a two-step approval workflow: first the purchasing department reviews and approves, then the editor confirms. Submissions can be manual or automatic based on manufacturer matching. IPP approvers can approve, reject, or add comments.
Yes, TSC uses a multi-tenant architecture where each company gets its own branded instance (yourcompany.timeslotcontrol.com) with custom logo, color scheme, and configuration. Data is completely isolated between tenants, and each company can have multiple branch offices within their instance.

Security, data & contract

The application and the database run in Microsoft Azure in two locations in the European Union and one in the USA. European customers' data never leaves the European Union. Every customer has their own instance on their own address (yourcompany.timeslotcontrol.com) and customer data is kept separate.
All communication with the application and the API runs exclusively over HTTPS (TLS). Database data is also encrypted at rest. Access is governed by roles and permissions, password strength by a configurable password policy, and the API uses dedicated accounts with a restricted role.
The database is backed up automatically within the Azure platform and the backups stay in the same geographic area as the customer's data (EU or USA). Recovery is handled by us without any action on the customer's side. The specific recovery parameters (RPO/RTO) are stated in the security questionnaire we complete on request.
Lotraco s.r.o. acts as the customer's data processor. We process only the data needed for check-in – typically the driver's name, phone number and licence plate – and only for the purpose defined by the customer. A data processing agreement (DPA) is concluded as part of the contract. Carriers and drivers have their own accounts and see only their own reservations.
Availability of 99.99 % corresponds to less than one hour of unplanned downtime per year. Updates are rolled out continuously and are included in the licence. The SLA terms, including support response times, are part of the contract.
Support is included in the licence at no extra cost. Customers reach it by e-mail at support@timeslotcontrol.com or by phone. Requests are handled by our own team, which also develops the application, so nothing is passed to a third party. Response times for each severity level are agreed in the contract.
The licence is paid monthly and its scope can be increased or reduced at any time. We do not require a long-term commitment. For enterprise customers we prepare a framework agreement with terms that follow their procurement rules.
The data is yours. You can export it at any time from the application to Excel or via the OData API. When the contract ends we hand over a complete export and then remove the data from the system.
Carriers use the application free of charge – no fee per reservation or per user. They register themselves through a link you send them, or your administrator creates them. Many carriers already know Time Slot Control from other customers, user guides are available on the wiki, and our customers typically reach adoption above 90 % within a few months.
Access is governed by roles – Administrator, Editor, Reader and Watcher – which can be restricted to specific branches. A carrier can see only its own company's reservations. The Audit log module records for every reservation who changed what and when, including the old and new values.
